Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch of the 15 Ultra in China later this month, with its global reveal expected at MWC in Barcelona at the beginning of March. If previous trends hold true, the standard Xiaomi 15 could also make its international debut around the same time.
A recent leak has provided insights into the RAM, storage capacities, and color options for the global version of the Xiaomi 15. The smartphone is reported to offer two configurations: 12GB RAM with either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage.
This RAM specification might be lower than what some users expect from a prominent Android manufacturer that competes with giants like Samsung. The Xiaomi 15 is anticipated to be available in green, black, and white for the global market. It is also believed that the specifications of the international model will closely mirror those of its Chinese counterpart, although the global version is likely to carry a significantly higher price tag due to increased logistics costs and taxes.
The Xiaomi 15 features a 6.36-inch LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 1200x2670 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a peak brightness of 3,200 nits. Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and boasts a triple rear camera system which includes a 50 MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 50 MP ultrawide lens, a 50 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS, along with a 32 MP front-facing camera. The device is equipped with a robust 5,400 mAh battery that supports 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.
