Samsung's latest flagship, the Galaxy S25 series, has achieved significant success in India, with pre-orders surpassing those of its predecessor, the S24 series, by an impressive 20%. This surge reflects the growing excitement among consumers for Samsung's innovative technology and recent enhancements in their devices.
In total, Samsung India has reported over 430,000 pre-orders for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. While the exact figures for each model have not been disclosed, trends show that the Ultra variant likely leads in popularity, similar to findings in South Korea, where pre-orders exceeded the S24 series by 10%.
This year’s impressive figures further build upon last year's record, where Samsung registered 250,000 pre-orders within just three days. Following that initial wave, additional pre-orders bolstered the total, but the latest numbers indicate a solid improvement, reinforcing the demand for Samsung's flagship devices.
To better cater to the local audience, Samsung ensures that the Galaxy S25 lineup is manufactured at its Noida factory, while also offering local language support for their new Gemini Live feature. The company has expanded its retail reach, now operating in 17,000 outlets across smaller cities, enhancing accessibility for more consumers.
“The Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 smartphones set a new standard as true AI companions, providing the most intuitive and context-driven mobile experiences. We are witnessing robust demand from young, tech-savvy consumers who are leading the way in Galaxy AI usage.
