This week in mobile technology has been marked by exciting launches and intriguing leaks. Asus has officially unveiled two new smartphones: the Zenfone 12 Ultra and the ROG Phone 9 FE, both packed with cutting-edge specifications. Additionally, rumors surrounding the highly anticipated Xiaomi 15 Ultra have surfaced, with leaked details about its camera capabilities and design. Here’s a closer look at the latest developments in the smartphone world from Week 6.

Asus kicked off the week with the release of the Zenfone 12 Ultra, featuring the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite, combined with an impressive 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a generous 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The standout enhancement is the phone's new main camera, which utilizes a Sony Lytia-700 sensor alongside a 6-axis hybrid gimbal stabilizer that boasts a 66% improvement over its predecessor. The device is powered by a robust 5,500mAh battery supporting fast charging capabilities of up to 65W wired and 15W wireless, priced at €1,100 in Europe, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

In addition, Asus introduced the ROG Phone 9 FE, which houses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. This model serves as the more affordable variant within the ROG Phone 9 series and is currently available in Thailand for THB 29,990.

Moving on to the leaks surrounding the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, rumors suggest that it will be officially announced on February 26. A recent hands-on video and photos have revealed the device, which is said to feature a 1-inch main camera equipped with the Lytia LYT-900 sensor, alongside a formidable camera array that includes a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, a 50MP short-range telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide shooter. The device is expected to be powered by a massive 6,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging capabilities.

In addition to these smartphone updates, Samsung has also made headlines by launching the Galaxy S25 and S25 Ultra Enterprise Editions in Europe, which come bundled with a free year of Samsung Knox Suite and three years of enhanced business support.
