Acer Unveils Powerful Predator Helios Neo 16 AI and 18 AI Laptops Featuring RTX 5070 Ti

Acer revealed its latest gaming laptops, the Predator Helios Neo 16 AI and Helios Neo 18 AI, during a Counter-Strike tournament held in Katowice, Poland. These cutting-edge machines are equipped with up to the latest Intel Core Ultra 9 275H CPU, 64GB of RAM, 2TB of storage, and the recently launched Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti laptop GPU, complemented by high-speed OLED displays.

Both models feature the advanced 5th generation AeroBlade 3D fans, vector heat pipes, and liquid metal thermal grease for optimal thermal management.

The larger Predator Helios Neo 18 AI boasts an expansive 18-inch display, offering three 2560x1600px WQXGA options and a 1920x1200px WUXGA variant. The standout model integrates a Mini LED matrix that delivers an impressive 3 ms response time and a 250Hz refresh rate.

This 18-inch model can be configured with either an Intel Core Ultra 7 255Hx or a Core Ultra 9 275HX processor, along with choices between the RTX 5070 or 5070 Ti laptop GPUs. It houses a 90WHr battery within its 3.3kg frame.

Meanwhile, the Helios Neo 16 AI offers four display options, with the premium choice being an OLED panel featuring a 1 ms response time, 400 nits brightness, and a 240Hz refresh rate.

This model shares the same processor, graphics configurations, and 90WHr battery as its larger counterpart, but is lighter at 2.7kg.

The Helios Neo 16 AI is set to hit the North American market in April, with an introductory price of $1,900, followed by a European launch in May, starting at €1,700. The Helios Neo 18 AI will be available in North America starting in May, priced at $2,200, and will follow with a European release in June at €1,800.
