Apple’s Upcoming iPad Pro with M5 Chip Could Launch Sooner Than Expected

Source: Date:
Apple might be gearing up to surprise tech enthusiasts with the release of its next-generation iPad Pro, powered by the new M5 processor, potentially arriving sooner than previous estimates. According to insights from reliable tech insiders, while Apple is also planning to unveil a new iPhone SE and two upgraded iPad Air models this spring, the timeline for the latest iPad Pro models seems to be advancing unexpectedly.
Recent reports from a new Korean media source suggest that the next iPad Pros could soon feature high-quality OLED screens, with some components possibly ready for mass production in April or May. This timeline is significantly earlier than earlier speculations suggesting a release in “late 2025 or early 2026,” as mentioned by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg. Although the latest information does not provide a specific launch date, it raises the possibility that the tablets could be ready for market much sooner than anticipated.
However, production challenges might still delay the launch until October or November 2025. A 2026 release seems increasingly unlikely unless the M5 chip faces unexpected hurdles in development. From what has been revealed, the upcoming Apple M5 processor is expected to bring significant advancements over the already powerful M4 chip found in the current iPad Pro models. It is improbable that two of the leading tablets today would be succeeded by another pair featuring the same chip.
For now, fans and potential buyers will need to remain patient as details about the next iPad Pro remain scarce, leaving much to speculation and educated guesses from credible sources in the industry.
