WhatsApp is set to enhance its integration with Meta's suite of applications through the upcoming addition to the Meta Accounts Center, allowing users to seamlessly post their WhatsApp Status updates as Stories on both Facebook and Instagram. This feature is expected to roll out in the coming months, offering a new way for users to share their updates across platforms.
The integration of WhatsApp into the Meta Accounts Center is optional and will be disabled by default. Users who opt to link their accounts will have the flexibility to control where their WhatsApp Statuses are shared—be it on their Facebook Story, Instagram Story, or both—facilitating greater connectivity and expression across social media.

The Accounts Center also provides the convenience of logging into multiple Meta-owned applications with a single account. Future enhancements will include the ability to manage avatars, Meta AI stickers, and Imagine Me creations all from the Accounts Center, streamlining the user experience across various Meta platforms.

Importantly, Meta assures users that the inclusion of WhatsApp in the Accounts Center will not compromise end-to-end encryption for messages and calls, ensuring that "no one else, not even WhatsApp or Meta, can read or hear them".
