MediaTek Set to Launch Overclocked Dimensity 9400+ This March

Exciting news is on the horizon as MediaTek gears up to unveil its latest chipset, the Dimensity 9400+. According to industry insider Digital Chat Station, this new version is expected to arrive as early as this quarter, complete with an overclocked CPU that promises enhanced performance for upcoming devices.

The leaks suggest that two new smartphones will debut alongside the Dimensity 9400+: one will feature a "smaller flat panel with a periscope camera," while the other will be a "larger cameraphone," both sporting flat screen designs without the typical 2.5D curves. It's yet unclear whether these devices will be the expected vivo X200S and Oppo Find X8S.

Traditionally, MediaTek introduces Plus variants of its flagship chipsets later in the year. However, the 9400+ is poised for an earlier launch and is likely to see quick adoption among smartphone manufacturers. In the standard Dimensity 9400, the top-performing Cortex-X925 core operates at a frequency of 3.63 GHz, but in the Plus variant, it is anticipated to increase to 3.7 GHz.
