This hepta-core variant, identified by the part number SM8750-3-AB, is available for OEMs interested in a cost-effective alternative without compromising too much on performance. It’s likely that these chips are binned parts, meaning they are produced in the same batch as others but are designated for this model if one Performance core is deemed faulty and disabled before shipping.
