In a recent development, the National Communications Commission (NCC) has released detailed images of the vivo V50 (model V2427), showcasing the device alongside its charger and battery. This follows earlier certifications from the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) that hinted at the existence of multiple models, including the V50 and its variant, the V50e.

The design of the vivo V50 appears to be quite reminiscent of the vivo S20, which was introduced in China in November. Based on scale photographs, the V50 has dimensions of 160mm in height and 74mm in width, aligning perfectly with those of the S20 and likely featuring the same 6.67” display.
Further analysis reveals that the V50 is powered by a BA77 Li-Ion battery with a rated capacity of 5,870mAh (22.55Wh) and a typical capacity of 6,000mAh (23.04Wh). This marks a departure from the S20, which boasts a higher capacity Si/C battery rated at 6,500mAh.

Specifications: 6,000mAh battery, 90W charger, and accompanying USB cable
Interestingly, the V50 retains the impressive charging capabilities seen in its predecessor, featuring a charger rated for 90W (11V at 8.2A). Included in the package is a USB-A to C cable designed for efficient charging.

On the camera front, two lenses can be seen on the back of the V50, which, if consistent with the S20, are likely to comprise a 50MP main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. The front camera appears as a single punch-hole variant, expected to have a resolution of 50MP.
Although there is no confirmed launch date for the vivo V50 and its variants, taking into account the unveiling timelines of previous models—the V30 in February 2024 and the V40 in June—it is anticipated that the V50 series will make its debut within the next few weeks.
