Oppo's Product Manager, Zhou Yibao, has officially announced that the highly anticipated Oppo Find X8 Ultra will incorporate a telephoto macro camera, ensuring a robust photographic experience for users. This confirmation came in response to a fan query on Weibo, building excitement as the flagship device is expected to debut in March.
The telephoto macro camera is speculated to utilize the 50MP Sony LYT-701 sensor, equipped with 3x optical zoom and optical image stabilization (OIS). Additionally, the Find X8 Ultra's camera system is set to include a 50MP main camera (LYT-900) with OIS, alongside a 50MP periscope module (IMX882) boasting a 150mm equivalent focal length and 6x optical zoom. A fourth sensor will reportedly feature a 50MP ultrawide lens, enhancing the versatility of the camera setup.
In addition to the Find X8 Ultra, Oppo is also expected to unveil the Find X8 Mini, which will compete directly with devices like the vivo X200 Pro mini and iPhone 16 Pro in the compact flagship market, making it an exciting time for smartphone enthusiasts.
