Sony has just rolled out the long-awaited Android 15 update for its Xperia 5 V smartphone, following the recent update for the Xperia 1 V. Users have begun to report receiving the update, which is approximately 1GB in size, upgrading their devices to software version 67.2.A.2.41.
This new update introduces the Private Space feature, allowing users to store apps in a secure, password-protected section of the app drawer. Additional enhancements include a color contrast setting for the Home screen, a revamped way to customize the clock on the lock screen, and a new Dashboard function in Side Sense that simplifies access to frequently used settings.
Furthermore, the Quick Settings and notification panels have been redesigned for a more user-friendly experience, and users can now take screenshots directly from the Quick Settings.
