Early Indications Suggest Motorola Razr 60 Ultra Launch Imminent

Source: Date:

Exciting news is on the horizon for Motorola enthusiasts as the company's next flip smartphone, rumored to be the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra, may be unveiled sooner than expected. Following the certification of a new Motorola model by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), anticipation builds for what features and improvements this new device will bring to the iconic Razr line.

The certification in question pertains to a device with the model number XT2551, which aligns with previous speculations linking it to the Razr 60 Ultra. For reference, its predecessor, the Razr 50 Ultra, carried the model number XT2451 and was certified in April 2022 before making its global debut in June.

If this recent certification indeed corresponds to the Razr 60 Ultra, we may see the phone introduced earlier than the Razr 50 Ultra—with expectations leaning towards a March or April reveal. However, it is essential to approach this timeline with caution, as it remains speculation at this stage.

While detailed leaks surrounding the Razr 60 Ultra remain under wraps, there is a possibility it could feature cutting-edge technology as seen in its predecessor, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. It's not far-fetched to consider that Motorola may opt for the successor to that chipset, the Snapdragon 8s Elite, for the new model.
