Exciting news is on the horizon for Apple enthusiasts as the tech giant gears up for a series of significant product launches in 2025. According to Mark Gurman's latest insights from his Power On newsletter, Apple plans to unveil new models across its product lineup, including MacBook Air updates, budget-friendly iPhones, and refreshed iPads. This article delves into the anticipated releases, marking a promising year for Apple fans.
Apple is expected to start 2025 with the introduction of upgraded 13” and 15” MacBook Air models (J713 and J715), both featuring the highly anticipated Apple M4 chip and currently in production.
The new iPhone SE is earmarked for a spring launch in 2025, priced at approximately $429. This model is set to be the most affordable iPhone equipped with Apple Intelligence technology, adopting a design similar to the iPhone 14, and housing the powerful Apple A18 chipset alongside Apple's proprietary modem chips.

Additionally, Gurman anticipates the release of two new entry-level iPads (J481 and J482) powered by the Apple A17 Pro chip and featuring 8GB of RAM, akin to the latest iPad mini, further enhancing their ability to run Apple Intelligence.
These entry-level models will be complemented by new iPad Air versions (J607, J608, J637, and J638), which are expected to include the latest Apple M4 chip while maintaining the foundational design established by the 11” and 13” iPad Airs launched in the previous year.

Moving forward, details about Apple’s forthcoming smart home hub have also emerged. This innovative device will feature a 7-inch touchscreen designed to assist users in managing household tasks, running applications, and making video calls. Apple plans to launch this smart home hub in March, although wider availability may take some time.
As the year progresses, the fall will see the much-anticipated iPhone 17 series make its debut, consisting of the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max, and the new iPhone 17 Air. Notably, the iPhone 17 Air is rumored to be incredibly thin at just 5.5mm, over 2mm slimmer than the current iPhone 16 and 16 Plus models, and is expected to feature a “base-level A19 chip” along with a single rear camera.
