Oppo is igniting excitement with the upcoming release of its Find N5 foldable smartphone, which is anticipated to be unveiled in February. The new device will be the successor to the 2023 Oppo Find N3, and a recent teaser from company executive Pete Lau emphasizes its standout feature—remarkable thinness. According to the post on Weibo, the Oppo Find N5 aims to claim the title of the thinnest flagship foldable device available.
Currently, the Honor Magic V3 holds the record for the thinnest foldable smartphone at a mere 4.35mm. To surpass this standard, the Find N5 is expected to measure between 3.5mm and 4mm in thickness. Additionally, Zhou Yibao, the product manager for the Find series, has revealed that the device will include a titanium alloy hinge, enhancing both durability and design.
There are also speculations that the Oppo Find N5 could be rebranded as the OnePlus Open 2 for international markets. The phone is rumored to pack a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, three 50 MP rear cameras, and a robust 5,900 mAh battery, coupled with impressive charging capabilities of 80W wired and 50W wireless.
