Poco has made strides in the smartphone market with its recently updated X series for 2025, and now all eyes are on the anticipated F series flagship models. The Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra have recently received certification for sale in Indonesia, unveiling their model numbers and confirming their impending release.
The Poco F7 Pro, designated 24117RK2CG, is rumored to be a rebranded Redmi K80. It boasts impressive specifications, including a 6.67-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1440x3200 pixels and a refreshing 120 Hz rate, coupled with an exceptional brightness of up to 3,200 nits. Powering this device is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, with options for 12GB or 16GB of RAM and storage capacities ranging from 256GB to a massive 1TB. Its camera setup features a dual rear camera system with a 50 MP main lens with OIS and an 8 MP ultrawide lens, alongside a 20 MP front camera. To top it off, the device is equipped with a robust 6,550 mAh battery that supports 90W wired charging.
The Poco F7 Ultra, bearing the model number 24122RKC7G, is expected to be a rebranded Redmi K80 Pro. This model may share the same display as the F7 Pro but will feature an upgrade in performance with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The Ultra variant is expected to flaunt a more advanced camera setup, including a triple rear camera configuration with a 50 MP main camera, a 32 MP ultrawide lens, and a 50 MP telephoto lens equipped with 2.5x optical zoom. It maintains the same 20 MP selfie camera, RAM, and storage options as the Pro model, while its battery is rated at 6,000 mAh with capabilities for both 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.
However, the status of the standard Poco F7 remains uncertain. It appears that Poco might forgo launching the vanilla model this year, opting instead to focus on the Pro and Ultra variants, which certainly present a more enticing appeal.
