OnePlus has rolled out its first software update for the recently launched OnePlus 13R, introducing several enhancements aimed at improving user experience. While this update may not bring a plethora of new features, it does include some key improvements that users will appreciate.
The update introduces a new personalization option for watermarks in the Photos app, making it more customizable for users who like to add their unique touch to images. Additionally, a new "Touch to Share" feature has been introduced that enables seamless connectivity with iOS devices. Users can also expect better stability for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections, alongside improvements in Bluetooth compatibility.

Camera enthusiasts will benefit from enhanced color accuracy in photos taken with both the main camera and telephoto lens, along with overall improvements in camera performance and stability. This update addresses an issue that caused images to appear overly bright, ensuring a more balanced photographic output. Also included is the addition of charging status notifications in Live Alerts, as well as overall enhancements to system stability and performance.
Under the hood, this update includes the December 2024 security patch level, which is already a month old as we step into January. The new build is identified as OxygenOS 15.0.0.403 and is currently being deployed globally in batches.
