This week, the highly anticipated OnePlus 13 has officially launched, alongside the new Poco X7 series, which is now available in Europe. Smartphone enthusiasts have plenty of options to consider, with significant savings available on select models.
The OnePlus 13 is being offered at special prices, including a €100 discount on the 512GB variant. Customers can find the 12/256GB version for €1,000 and the 16/512GB version for €1,050 at Amazon DE.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi has launched its new Poco X7 series, consisting of the standard and Pro models — both now available in the UK. The Poco X7 Pro is equipped with the powerful Dimensity 8400 Ultra processor, along with faster UFS 4.0 storage. Both models feature impressive 6.67-inch, 120Hz OLED displays with 12-bit color depth (including Dolby Vision and HDR10+) and Gorilla Glass 7i for durability.
These displays come with a resolution of 1,220 x 2,712 pixels, and the phones boast large batteries, with the Poco X7 Pro having a 6,000mAh capacity and 90W HyperCharge, which allows for a full charge in just 42 minutes.
The vanilla Poco X7 is slightly less expensive and retails for €70 less. However, it features the older Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset along with UFS 2.2 storage and a slightly smaller 5,110mAh battery with slower 45W charging capabilities (charging fully in 52 minutes).
Both Poco X7 models boast an IP68 rating, but the standard version is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus for display durability. They come equipped with a comprehensive camera setup, including a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 20MP selfie camera. However, since the standard model uses an older chipset, it lacks the ability to record 4K video at 60fps, which is available on the Pro model.
When comparing the Poco X7 Pro to the Poco F6, which offers a similarly priced model, consumers will benefit from the more robust battery and quicker charging of the X7 Pro, alongside superior water resistance.
For those considering pricier alternatives, the Realme GT 6T is available for €60 more with a comparable 8/256GB setup, though it offers a bit more in terms of specifications and features.
