Starting this year, Galaxy smartphone enthusiasts could eagerly anticipate a new AI innovation that succinctly summarizes their telephone conversations. This feature follows the introduction of transcription and summary capabilities in the Samsung Voice Recorder app, but previously, it only applied to recorded audio, leaving call conversations unprocessed. Through newly discovered code, it has been revealed that an AI-driven transcription will be the prerequisite for summarizing a call. Users can choose between online processing for faster results or local processing, which keeps all data on the device. Notably, Samsung promises not to retain any user data after processing.
Similar to Apple's functionality, Samsung's upcoming call summary feature is designed to streamline the way users engage with their conversations.
