This announcement follows OnePlus's promotion of the device's robust protection in China, affirming the phone's reliability in various challenging environments.
The IP68 rating indicates that the OnePlus 13 is completely dust-tight and can withstand submersion in water up to 1.5 meters (approximately 4 feet 11 inches) for a duration of 30 minutes. In addition, the IP69 certification protects the device against high-pressure and high-temperature water jets, making it suitable for rugged uses in industrial and outdoor settings regardless of the weather.
The OnePlus 13 is anticipated to showcase a stunning 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 3168 and a variable refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz. With a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, this phone ensures clarity even in bright sunlight. At its core, the device will be powered by the advanced 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite application processor, offering configurations with LPDDR5X RAM options of 12 GB, 16 GB, or even 24 GB.
