Source: Date:

MediaTek is set to revolutionize its chipset lineup with the upcoming Dimensity 9500, as revealed by renowned tipster Digital Chat Station. This new processor is expected to introduce an innovative 2+6 CPU architecture, which will feature an impressive combination of 2 Cortex-X930 “Travis” prime cores and 6 Cortex-A730 "Gelas" performance cores.

One of the most exciting aspects of the Dimensity 9500 is its prime cores, which are anticipated to reach clock speeds of up to 4 GHz, marking a significant advancement in performance. Additionally, the chip will be manufactured using TSMC's N3P process node (3nm), enhancing power efficiency and performance. It will also utilize ARM's Scalable Matrix Extension (SME), promising improved multi-thread performance for a variety of applications.

While MediaTek announced the Dimensity 9400 in October, enthusiasts can expect to wait several months before the official launch of the Dimensity 9500.
