Huawei is set to introduce its latest mid-range smartphone, the Enjoy 70X, on January 3. The company has confirmed the launch date and has shared a teaser image showcasing the device's aesthetic, which closely resembles the premium Mate series, featuring a distinctive circular camera bump.
As anticipation builds, hands-on images of the Enjoy 70X have surfaced from China, revealing not only its design but also some of its key specifications.
The smartphone, carrying the model number BRE-AL80, is driven by the Kirin 8000A chipset. This SoC comes equipped with a hexa-core CPU configuration that includes three Cortex-A77 cores, capable of reaching speeds up to 2.19 GHz, along with three Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.4 GHz. For graphics processing, it utilizes the Mali-G610 GPU, operating at speeds of up to 864 MHz.
The Enjoy 70X runs on HarmonyOS 4.2 and will initially be available in two color options: white and cyan. It features a luxurious 6.78-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1224x2700, boasting a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1,200 nits, and 2,160 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming for reduced eye strain.
In terms of photography, the device features a robust rear camera system, comprising a 50 MP primary lens paired with a 2 MP depth sensor. Additionally, it's expected to house a massive 6,100 mAh battery that supports 40W fast wired charging, ensuring minimal downtime. The phone measures a sleek 7.98 mm in thickness and has a weight of 189g, making it a compact yet powerful device.
