As OnePlus gears up for the launch of the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro on Thursday, December 26, both smartphones have appeared on the TENAA certification platform, unveiling their complete specifications. The listings highlight key differences between the two models, primarily focusing on their chipsets and battery capacities, while their dimensions, display size, and camera setups remain consistent with previous devices in the Ace series.


OnePlus Ace 5 Pro

The Ace 5 Pro is set to boast an impressive 4.32 GHz CPU, confirming that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. In contrast, the standard Ace 5 will utilize the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, clocking in at 3.3 GHz. Battery capacity varies as well, with the Pro model featuring a 6,100 mAh battery capable of 100W wired charging, while the regular Ace 5 will include a 6,400 mAh battery with an 80W charging capability.

On the photography front, both devices will sport a rear camera array of 50 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP and a 16 MP front-facing camera. The display measures 6.78 inches diagonally with a resolution of 1264p, and it will include an under-display fingerprint scanner.

In terms of dimensions, both models will be 161.7 x 75.8 mm, with a thickness around 8.1 mm, although the Pro will be slightly thicker. In China, the OnePlus Ace 5 will offer a choice of 12 GB or 16 GB RAM, alongside storage options of 256 GB, 512 GB, and a hefty 1 TB. The Ace 5 Pro will provide an expanded variety of options, including 8 GB RAM and a base model with 128 GB storage.

Given its specifications, the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro is likely to emerge as one of the most affordable devices featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Interestingly, the standard model, Ace 5, is expected to hit global markets under a different name, the OnePlus 13R.
