Samsung is set to expand its Galaxy A line with the upcoming launch of the Galaxy A06 5G, following the earlier release of the 4G-only version in August. Recent certification from the Wi-Fi Alliance has confirmed the existence of this new model, designated with the model number SM-A066B/DS.
The Galaxy A06 5G is expected to support dual-band Wi-Fi (both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and will operate on Android, continuing Samsung's trend of providing quality smartphones in its A series.
This will mark the first time Samsung introduces a 5G option within the A0x family, although details on the specific low-end chipset that will power this device remain under wraps.
