OnePlus is reportedly set to unveil the OnePlus Watch 3 on January 7, coinciding with the global launch of the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R. While official details from OnePlus are yet to surface, leaks suggest that the smartwatch will boast a unique rotating crown for enhanced navigation.
According to insiders, early renders of the OnePlus Watch 3, derived from a prototype, showcase this rotating crown design. Additionally, the smartwatch is expected to be available in two color options, featuring a heart rate sensor and electrocardiogram (ECG) functionality, although the ECG capability may be limited to certain markets.

Other anticipated specifications for the OnePlus Watch 3 include powering the device with the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SoC, complemented by 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It is also slated to run on Watch OS 5 alongside RTOS, and will likely house a battery exceeding 500 mAh. LTE connectivity is another highly anticipated feature.
The version of the OnePlus Watch 3 that received TENAA certification earlier in June was listed with a 500 mAh battery and model code OPWW234, indicating support for LTE, although its design differed from the new renders.
