With only three days left until the official launch of the vivo Y300 5G in China, detailed specifications and images of the smartphone have been leaked by WHYLAB.
The Y300 5G boasts a stunning 6.77-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,392 pixels and an impressive 120Hz refresh rate. This display can reach brightness levels up to 1,300 nits and comes with vivo's Diamond Shield glass for added protection. Additionally, it features a punch-hole design for the 8MP selfie camera and an embedded optical fingerprint scanner.
On the rear, the smartphone is equipped with a 50MP primary camera (Samsung S5KJNS) along with a 2MP depth sensor. A notable highlight is the large speaker located within the camera island, developed in partnership with AAC Technologies. It will include top and bottom speakers, establishing a three-way speaker matrix capable of delivering up to 4.5W of sound power.
Under the hood, the Y300 5G is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 6300 chipset, available in configurations of 8GB or 12GB of RAM, and storage options ranging from 128GB to 512GB. The smartphone will feature a robust 6,500 mAh battery that supports 44W wired charging and will operate on OriginOS 5 upon launch.
