Recent leaks indicate that the pricing for the forthcoming Galaxy S25 series in Europe will mirror that of the S24 series. Although the S25 series doesn't introduce groundbreaking upgrades, it does feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a significant enhancement from the Exynos 2400 used in the European S24 and S24+ models. Notable minor upgrades include the smaller S25 model finally coming with 12GB of RAM (with a base storage of 128GB), while the larger models may offer configurations with up to 16GB of RAM. Meanwhile, the S25 Ultra will debut a new 50MP ultra-wide camera.
In terms of camera, reports suggest that the main camera setup on the Galaxy S25 Ultra will remain similar to that of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which bore a resemblance to the S23 Ultra.
On another note, Realme officially launched its Neo series, starting with the Neo7 smartphone, which boasts MediaTek's Dimensity 9300+ processor and an impressive 7,000 mAh battery with 80W charging capabilities. The device also features an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. The camera system includes a 50MP main sensor (IMX882) with optical image stabilization, complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The Neo7 is available in white, blue, and black, with pricing for the 12/256GB model starting at CNY 2,199 ($302) and the top-tier 16GB RAM and 1TB storage version priced at CNY 3,299 ($454).
Additionally, Huawei's Mate 70 series was launched two weeks ago, and CEO Richard Yu announced this week that all components are produced domestically in China. This achievement marks Huawei's completion of 100% domestic chip production, showcasing the advancement of the Chinese semiconductor industry.
