The OnePlus Open, which debuted last year as the global variant of the Oppo Find N3, is set to welcome its successor, the upcoming OnePlus Open 2, alongside the Oppo Find N5. Recent leaks from China provide exciting details about these highly anticipated devices.
According to the renowned leaker Digital Chat Station on Weibo, both models will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. They are expected to be notably slimmer and lighter than their predecessors, while also offering improved battery performance.

Moreover, the Open 2 and Find N5 are touted to be the only flagship folding smartphones running Android to launch in the first half of next year. Features such as wireless charging capability and an IPX8 water resistance rating are also expected. Additionally, the rear camera setup includes a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens, along with a unique "anti-drop body structure". As for software, the devices will come with Android 15, featuring ColorOS 15 for Chinese users and OxygenOS 15 for international markets.
The Oppo Find N5 is anticipated to be officially unveiled before the end of March, although the timeline for the release of the OnePlus Open 2 remains uncertain.
