Today, Motorola has introduced three new devices to its Moto G series: the Moto G15, Moto G15 Power, and Moto G05. These affordable smartphones emphasize substantial battery life and are the first in the Moto G lineup to feature Android 15 pre-installed.
Moto G15 and G15 Power
The Moto G15 and G15 Power models largely share their specifications, differing mainly in battery capacity. The G15 Power sports a robust 6,000 mAh battery, while the G15 is fitted with a 5,200 mAh battery.
This difference results in the G15 Power being slightly heftier at 203g and 8.8 mm thick compared to the G15's 190g and 8.2 mm thickness. Otherwise, the performance and features remain consistent across both devices.
Both devices boast a 6.72" Full HD+ LCD with a punch hole for the 8 MP selfie camera and a rear camera setup that includes a 50 MP main sensor and a 5 MP ultrawide lens.
Powered by the Helio G81 chipset, these phones offer LTE connectivity, a 2 GHz octa-core CPU, and come equipped with 4 GB of RAM. Storage options include 128, 256, and 512 GB, with microSD support for additional capacity.
The Moto G15 and G15 Power come with a 3.5 mm audio jack, FM radio, NFC capabilities, and dual SIM support, available in Gravity Gray, Iguana Green, and Sunrise Orange with a vegan leather back cover.
Moto G05
The Moto G05 also utilizes the Helio G81 chipset and shares the general design of the Moto G15, maintaining an 8.2 mm thickness and weighing in at a light 189g. However, it has a slightly smaller display at 6.67" and lower HD+ resolution.
The design of the camera array is simpler compared to its counterparts, housing a 50 MP main camera alongside an auxiliary sensor rather than an ultrawide option.
The G05 is equipped with 4 GB of RAM and offers 64 GB or 128 GB of storage. Similar to the G15 series, it supports dual SIM and microSD cards, features an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance, and includes NFC in some regions, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and Bluetooth 5.4.
Device color choices for the G05 include Forest Green and Plum Red.
While Motorola has yet to announce pricing or release dates, the company confirmed that these models will be available across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia Pacific.
