In a unique move for its flagship lineup, vivo introduced the X200 Pro mini, a compact version of its flagship models, which has proven to be a success in the market. Building on this response, the company is rumored to be planning the launch of a smaller-screen mid-range smartphone in 2025, as reported by Digital Chat Station. This information was recently shared on Weibo but has since been removed, suggesting it might have been announced prematurely.

According to the leak, the new device will be equipped with a Dimensity 9 series chipset, likely the Dimensity 9300, aligning well with its mid-range positioning. The main camera is expected to feature a 50 MP resolution, along with a telephoto lens. The display may mirror the X200 Pro mini, measuring 6.31 inches with a resolution of 1216x2640, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and an impressive peak brightness of 4,500 nits.
Additionally, the upcoming smartphone will reportedly include a substantial silicon battery, which is anticipated to exceed the X200 Pro mini's 5,700 mAh capacity.
While these details remain tentative, more information on this device will be shared as it becomes available.
