The Oppo A5 Pro is gearing up for its official launch in China on December 24, following its recent certification by TENAA in early November. As the unveiling approaches, Oppo has started to unveil details about the new device, including its striking color options: Quartz White, Rock Black, and Sandstone Purple.
The company has released a teaser video that emphasizes the device's durability, suggesting that it may feature an IP68 or IP69 rating for enhanced dust and water resistance. This would surpass the IP54 rating of its predecessor, the A3 Pro, making it a significant upgrade in terms of durability—a welcomed trend among Chinese smartphone manufacturers.

As per the certification details, the Oppo A5 Pro is equipped with a 6.7-inch FHD+ display, available in configurations of 8GB or 12GB RAM, and storage options of either 256GB or 512GB. The rear photography capabilities include a 50 MP main camera accompanied by a 2 MP decorative sensor, alongside a 16 MP selfie camera.
