Samsung’s Certified Re-Newed smartphones are now available on Amazon in the United States, giving buyers another official place to shop for refurbished Galaxy phones. Previously, these devices could only be purchased directly from Samsung, but the company has now expanded the program to Amazon US with select recent models.
What sets Samsung’s Certified Re-Newed phones apart from standard refurbished devices is the level of manufacturer involvement. Each phone is serviced by Samsung specialists using genuine Samsung parts, including a replacement battery. Before being certified for resale, every device must pass 147 quality checks. After inspection, the phone is assigned a new IMEI and comes with a limited 1-year warranty. Buyers can also opt into Samsung Care+, which provides coverage for accidental damage such as drops, spills, and mechanical breakdowns.
Samsung also emphasizes the presentation of its refurbished phones. The devices ship in new packaging made from 100% recyclable materials and include a charging cable, a SIM ejector, and a quick start guide.

While the Amazon listing includes several Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S25 options, it does not yet carry every phone from Samsung’s Certified Re-Newed lineup. Samsung also added the Galaxy S26 series to its refurbished program in the US and the UK in September, but those models are not currently listed on Amazon. Foldable devices are also not included in the Amazon selection and remain available through Samsung.com.
