Redmi is building anticipation for the Redmi K100 ahead of its official launch in China on October 26, confirming several notable hardware details. The upcoming model is expected to arrive alongside the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max, which were already introduced in August.
According to the latest reveal, the Redmi K100 will feature a dual rear camera system. The main camera is headlined by a 50MP Light and Shadow Hunter 800 sensor, which comes with a 1/1.55-inch sensor size and a bright f/1.68 aperture.
The company has also confirmed that the phone will include IP68 dust and water resistance, along with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner for secure and convenient unlocking.
In a separate announcement, Redmi highlighted additional features such as symmetrical dual speakers, seven antennas for improved connectivity, and an 0815 X-axis linear motor designed to deliver stronger haptic feedback.
Earlier teasers also confirmed that the Redmi K100 will carry a massive 10,000mAh battery with 100W wired charging support. The device is set to feature a large 6.83-inch AMOLED display.
Buyers will be able to choose from three color options, including the new Firefly Green finish. Pre-orders for the Redmi K100 are currently open through Xiaomi’s official website in China.
