vivo is gearing up to expand its Y series lineup in China with the upcoming vivo Y600, and the company is putting battery life at the center of the announcement. The smartphone maker has now confirmed the device’s launch date and revealed that the phone will carry a massive 10,000mAh battery, making endurance one of its biggest selling points.

According to vivo, the Y600 will officially launch in China on October 30. Pre-orders are expected to begin early next week, and the new model will join the existing Y600 family, which already includes the Y600 Pro, Y600 Turbo, and Y600i.

To highlight the phone’s long-lasting performance, vivo also announced that the Y600 has achieved a Guinness World Record for the longest continuous livestream test on a smartphone. The test was conducted on August 11, where the device reportedly lasted 32 hours and 37 minutes.

In promotional images, the phone is shown in two color options and features a dual rear camera setup. Its design closely resembles the recently launched vivo S2 FE, fueling speculation that the Y600 may be a rebranded version of that device.

While full specifications have not been officially confirmed, leaked details suggest that the vivo Y600 will be powered by the Dimensity 7300e chipset. It is also rumored to include a 50MP main rear camera and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
