Samsung Galaxy F70 Launches in India With Familiar Midrange Hardware

Source: Date:

Samsung has expanded its F-series lineup in India by unveiling the Galaxy F70. Positioned between the Galaxy F70e and Galaxy F70 Pro, the newest model shares much of its hardware with last year’s Galaxy A17, bringing a large AMOLED screen, a stabilized main camera, and a sizeable battery to the mid-range segment.

The Galaxy F70 features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protects the display, while a waterdrop notch houses the 13MP selfie camera. On the rear, the phone carries a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization, accompanied by a 5MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro lens.

Samsung has not yet clarified the software version installed on the handset at launch. Its Flipkart listing points to Android 15, which would seem unusual in late 2026, while other details hint at One UI 8.5 based on Android 16. Official confirmation is still pending. Additional features include a 5,000mAh battery, 25W wired charging, and IP54 dust and splash resistance.

The Galaxy F70 comes in Black and Violet. Buyers can choose between 4GB of RAM with 128GB storage for INR 19,999 ($210) or 6GB of RAM with 128GB storage for INR 22,999 ($242). The smartphone is already listed on Flipkart and is scheduled to go on sale starting October 20.
