Xreal has unveiled its latest augmented reality (AR) glasses, the Xreal 1 Pro+, which arrive with significant display enhancements while retaining the same price point of $599 as its predecessor. This innovative device promises to elevate the user experience through a series of improvements.

The most noteworthy upgrade in the Xreal 1 Pro+ is its enhanced peak brightness, now at an impressive 1200 nits, a considerable leap from the 700 nits offered by the previous model. Furthermore, the device supports a smoother 60frames-per-second (fps) 2D to 3D conversion, doubling the previous model's capability of 30fps, thus enabling a more vibrant and immersive spatial viewing experience.

Users can enjoy a 57-degree field of view along with a virtual-size range extending from 34 to 556 inches and native 3DoF (three degrees of freedom) support for an enriched spatial experience.

At the heart of the Xreal 1 Pro+ lies the powerful X1 spatial computing chip, providing a remarkable 3ms M2P latency. The glasses have also been designed with comfort in mind, featuring an updated nose pad design that offers a broader contact area for improved stability during extended use. Connectivity is maintained via USB-C, compatible with any device equipped with DisplayPort (DP) Alt Mode.
