Apple has officially announced the launch of its highly anticipated iPhone Duo, marking the company's entry into the foldable smartphone market. Alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, the iPhone Duo was revealed during Apple’s September event and is set to be available for pre-order starting October 16. Shipping for the device will commence on October 23, just a week later.
Due to expected limited availability, Apple is encouraging early adopters to utilize its newly available Get Ready service for a smoother pre-order experience. This functionality allows customers to prepare all necessary specifications for their device ahead of the official pre-order opening.
With the Get Ready service, users can choose their iPhone Duo's color, storage capacity, carrier status, and any desired accessories. Additionally, customers can opt for an AppleCare+ plan, select a trade-in option, enter payment details, and set shipping and billing addresses. When pre-orders commence on Friday at 5AM PT / 8AM ET, users simply need to hit the "Pre-order" button to secure their device, maximizing their chance of getting the iPhone Duo.
The Get Ready feature is accessible through Apple's official website and the Apple Store app, making it convenient for customers to ensure they are first in line for this exciting new device.
