Xiaomi 18 Pro Max's Chipset and RAM Details Revealed in Geekbench Benchmark

Xiaomi is set to stir excitement in the smartphone market with the global launch of its flagship models, the 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max. Unlike last year's devices, these models are confirmed for an international release. With the rumored cancellation of the 18 Ultra, the 18 Pro Max is positioned to be Xiaomi's top-tier offering heading into 2027.

The device has made an appearance in the Geekbench AI online results database, sporting the model number 2611FPNFAG. It is equipped with the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, mirroring its Chinese counterpart. The specific prototype assessed featured a robust 12GB of RAM.

In China, the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max also comes with an option for 16GB of RAM, but it remains uncertain if the global variant will offer this configuration as well. Additionally, potential buyers in the European Union are keen to know about battery specifications; the Chinese version sports a 7,000 mAh battery while the Pro Max is equipped with an impressive 8,500 mAh cell. It remains to be seen if these specifications will carry over to the international models.

The 18 Pro Max is anticipated to launch with Android 17, enhanced with Xiaomi's HyperOS 4 interface. As a refresher for smartphone enthusiasts, the Chinese version of the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max showcases a stunning 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 1208x2624 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 4,000 nits. Additionally, there is a secondary 2.9-inch LTPO AMOLED cover screen boasting a resolution of 596x976, also featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and 4,000-nit peak brightness. Users can choose from storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB. The camera system is equally remarkable with a 200MP main camera with OIS, a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with OIS and 3.2x optical zoom, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP front-facing camera.
