In an innovative leap towards combining technology and convenience, Honor has introduced the Life S3, a unique eBook reader that seamlessly attaches to the back of your smartphone using magnets. This compact device is set to change the way you read your favorite books on-the-go, providing an additional screen dedicated to reading while keeping your phone’s functionality intact.
The Honor Life S3 boasts a 3.68-inch e-ink display with a stunning pixel density of 259ppi. With a mere thickness of 5.6mm and a lightweight design at just 61g, it easily snaps onto the back of your phone. For those whose phones lack built-in magnets, Honor includes a magnetic ring in the retail package along with a screen protector and charging cable.

Powered by a small 650mAh battery, the e-ink technology ensures long-lasting usage, enabling up to 30 hours of continuous reading before a recharge is needed. Charging is straightforward through the USB-C port, although reverse wireless charging from your phone to the reader is not available.
The S3 makes transferring new books hassle-free using Wi-Fi 6 (ac) via the Honor Smart Space app, supporting popular formats such as EPUB, MOBI, and even document files like DOC, DOCX, and PDF. Furthermore, it includes a microSD slot that accommodates cards up to 1TB, allowing for an extensive library right at your fingertips.
Honor Life S3: Compact, efficient, and ready for book lovers!
Equipped with two side buttons—a function key on the left and a power key on the right—the Honor Life S3 employs a touchscreen for page-turning. However, it's important to note that the device lacks a front light, meaning it’s best suited for reading in well-lit environments or sunny outdoor conditions.
With the rise of compact eBook readers such as the Xteinkk X4 Pro, the Honor Life S3 stands out due to its size. While the X4 Pro offers a larger 4.3-inch display, it may not fit comfortably on smaller smartphones. Conversely, the S3 fits perfectly, making it an attractive option for avid readers.
