Major Android Brands Embrace Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Series for Upcoming Devices

As the tech industry continuously evolves, the announcement of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chips marks a significant advancement for Android smartphones. Leading smartphone manufacturers are quick to integrate these new processors into their upcoming device lineups, promising enhanced performance and user experience.

Xiaomi is leading the charge with its highly anticipated 18 series. The standard 18 Pro will feature the ordinary Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip, whereas the 18 Pro Max is set to showcase the Extreme version. These models are expected to make their debut later today in China.

Honor is also onboard with its upcoming Magic9 Pro Max, which will utilize the impressive Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, launching on September 28.

The iQOO 16 and Pad Ultra are set to incorporate the Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip as well, with their launch scheduled for September 29. vivo, the parent company, has indicated that future models will also leverage this flagship processor.

Additionally, the RedMagic 12Pro+ plans to join the elite lineup with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme chip, slated for launch in October.

OnePlus is also confirmed to adopt the Elite version of the new chip in its upcoming OnePlus 16. Furthermore, Motorola's Signature 27 is expected to feature the Extreme variant, with a launch planned for later this year.
