As the tech world buzzes with excitement, Apple is gearing up to unveil a groundbreaking addition to its iPhone lineup. The much-anticipated foldable iPhone, rumored to be named the iPhone Duo, is set to make its debut alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max models. These new offerings promise innovative features, enhanced performance, and the latest in mobile technology.

Introducing the iPhone Duo

After a lengthy spell of speculation, Apple is ready to reveal its first foldable smartphone. Initially thought to be branded as the iPhone Ultra, recent leaks suggest it may instead be called the iPhone Duo. Regardless of its name, this device is anticipated to showcase a sleek folding design featuring a 4:3 aspect ratio.

The iPhone Duo will feature a 5.49-inch LTPO OLED cover display with a punch-hole selfie camera, signifying a departure from Face ID as Apple opts for a Touch ID sensor integrated into the power button. The construction will utilize a combination of titanium for the chassis and aluminum for other components to enhance thermal management.

When unfolded, the device measures just 4.5mm thick, and in its folded state, it reaches between 9-9.5mm. It will be available in white and dark blue color options, adding a touch of elegance to its design.

The standout feature is its 7.76-inch main display, designed to minimize the appearance of the crease that often plagues foldable devices. Utilizing Samsung's new M16 luminescent technology, it will also support Apple Pencil functionality, making it a versatile device for users who appreciate productivity on the go.
