MediaTek has officially announced the launch date for its highly anticipated Dimensity 9600 Pro System on Chip (SoC), set to debut on September 15 at 2:30 PM in China. For global audiences, this translates to 2:30 AM in New York, 7:30 AM in London, 8:30 AM in Central Europe, 9:30 AM in Eastern Europe, and 12 PM in India.
The announcement, made via their social media platform X, highlights that the upcoming chip aims to deliver a "pro experience" with added benefits in terms of efficiency and imaging capabilities. Notable features include support for 4K at 240fps slow-motion video recording. Furthermore, gaming enthusiasts will be delighted as MediaTek has promised "AI-enhanced graphics", an upgraded HyperEngine, and advanced "immersive ray tracing" technology.
As speculations turn into reality, it's confirmed that this is indeed the Dimensity 9600 Pro SoC.
