The Android 17 update, identified as version 73.1.A.2.61, is an over-the-air download of about 1.2GB. Enhancements in this update include the introduction of a new Desktop mode, updated "Wallpaper & style" features with additional wallpapers and clock designs, and improved customization options for icons.

One of the prominent changes lies in the revamped Quick Settings panel which now offers a more modern interface allowing users to resize and rearrange tiles as desired, along with the option to display descriptions on larger tiles. Additionally, screen recording features have been upgraded to allow capturing either the whole screen or specific apps, while also enabling simultaneous audio recording from the device and microphone for added commentary.

Moreover, photography enthusiasts will appreciate the AI Camera Assistant's new capabilities which allow users to save up to three custom looks for photos, each with personalized names for quick access. Along with these exciting features, the update likely includes various bug fixes and performance improvements to ensure a smoother user experience.
