Samsung Expands One UI 9 Beta to Galaxy Watch6 Series and Galaxy S25 Series

Samsung continues to innovate and enhance user experience across its devices as it rolls out the One UI 9 Watch beta for the Galaxy Watch6 series, alongside the second beta update for the Galaxy S25 series. This latest update brings exciting new features and enhancements, providing users with an opportunity to experience the next iteration of Samsung's software.

Last month, Samsung initiated the Wear OS 7-based One UI 9 Watch beta for the Galaxy Watch8 and Watch8 Classic, quickly followed by the Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra. Now, it has expanded this beta rollout to include the Galaxy Watch6 and Galaxy Watch6 Classic, allowing owners of these models to participate in the testing phase.

The One UI 9 Watch beta for the Galaxy Watch6 includes updates for the 40mm and 44mm models, identified by firmware versions R93xXXU2ZZI1 and R94xXXU2ZZI1, respectively. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch6 Classic's 43mm and 47mm models are updating with firmware versions R95xXXU2ZZI1 and R96xXXU2ZZI1. The beta is currently being distributed in South Korea, and interested users can enroll in the One UI Watch 9 beta program through the Samsung Members app.

In addition to the Galaxy Watch6 series expansion, Samsung has also released the second beta update for the Galaxy S25 series, building on its first beta that debuted just a week prior. The One UI 9 Beta 2 update is being rolled out in India with firmware version ending in ZZI4/DZI4 and has a size of approximately 660MB. This update brings various bug fixes and introduces new AI features.

Reports indicate that the new AI features included in this update are those previously introduced in the Galaxy Z Fold8 series features. Users can expect enhancements such as Now Nudge, My FanCam, Call Brief, and Custom Cards in Now Brief.
