Samsung has launched its latest addition to the Galaxy Book series, the new Galaxy Book6, which features a compact 14” display, powerful Intel processors, and a host of connectivity options, all at an attractive starting price of $800. Targeting both everyday users and professional needs, this laptop promises impressive performance and convenience wrapped in a stylish design.
The Galaxy Book6 offers a vibrant 14” 16:10 LCD display with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels and a brightness of 350 nits, perfect for both productivity and media consumption. With a slim thickness of just 15.7mm and a weight of 1.35kg (2.98lbs), this laptop is designed for mobility.

Powering this laptop is the choice between Intel’s Core i3 or Core i5 315 processors. The base configuration includes 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 256GB PCIe SSD. Users can upgrade to configurations of up to 16GB of RAM and choose between 512GB or 1TB of storage, allowing for customizable performance tailored to individual needs.
The device is equipped with a robust 61.2Wh battery that supports up to 25 hours of usage on a single charge. Charging is made efficient through two USB-C ports, capable of delivering 45W, allowing the laptop to reach 33% charge in just 30 minutes. Other connectivity options include one USB-A port, one HDMI 1.4 slot, and a 3.5mm headphone/mic combo jack. For wireless connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 6E (2x2) and Bluetooth 5.4.

For audio, the laptop features stereo speakers enhanced with Dolby Atmos technology, ensuring a rich sound experience for music, videos, and calls. The device also comes with dual microphones and a 2MP camera, catering to voice and video calls. However, it does not include a backlit keyboard.
A standout feature of the Galaxy Book6 is its seamless integration with other Galaxy devices. Quick Share allows for effortless file transfers between Galaxy devices, while Storage Share provides access to files across devices without the need for transfer. Additionally, users can utilize a Galaxy Tab as a secondary display with the Second Screen feature. Multi Control enables the use of the laptop’s keyboard and trackpad to control other Galaxy devices, enhancing productivity and multitasking capabilities.
Visual features are also enhanced with AI capabilities like Note Assist, which summarizes key notes, and AI Cut Out and AI Select, which facilitate photo editing and online interactions respectively.

The Galaxy Book6 is available in two color options, Violet Silver and classic Gray. Buyers in the UK can currently find the Book6 available with limited configurations, while in Spain, there are options for additional RAM and storage. Prices vary across regions, with the Belgian market listing the following prices: €850 for the 8/256GB model, €1,000 for the 8/512GB configuration, and €1,200 for the 16/512GB option—all using the Core i5 processor.
The Samsung Galaxy Book6 comes in a new Violet Silver color, along with the classic Gray option.
In the US, the Galaxy Book6 will be available for purchase starting October 5 through Samsung.com and Amazon. In Canada, the starting price is set at $1,200, although the exact date of availability has yet to be confirmed.
Note that Samsung also offers a higher-end 14” Galaxy Book6 that uses Intel Core Ultra processors, so customers should be aware of the different models when looking to make a purchase.
