Vehicle Configuration
The configuration process allowed us complete control over selecting features that best meet our lifestyle needs.
Starting with the wheels, we opted for the 20-inch aerodynamic setup. While larger wheels may offer visual appeal, we prioritized range and comfort—essential traits for a vehicle that will log substantial kilometers.
We selected the M-Sport steering wheel, a personal choice driven by aesthetics rather than practicality, showing our preference for its design over the conventional option.
In terms of color, we chose Brooklyn Grey with a white interior. This selection was not only about style but also practicality, as a lighter interior will likely keep the cabin cooler during summertime heat.
For seating, we decided on standard seats instead of M-Sport variants for their comfort on longer trips. Additionally, the removable headrest on the front passenger seat allows the seat to fold flatter, making it easier to transport longer items like surfboards.
The choice of the Innovation Package was straightforward, as it provides us with the Harman/Kardon sound system and a head-up display, ensuring a superb audio experience and easy access to essential information while driving.
Finally, we chose the 22 kW AC charger option. Given our access to the required charging infrastructure, it enhances functionality with Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, giving us the ability to power external devices during our trips.
