In a recent move to adjust pricing across its service offerings, Apple has announced a hike in the costs of its Apple TV and Apple One subscriptions. This follows a previous increase in hardware prices and continues a trend of rising costs within the tech giant's ecosystem.
Apple TV, the streaming service formerly known as Apple TV+, will see its monthly subscription rate rise from $12.99 to $14.99 in the United States. Additionally, the annual plan will now cost $119.99, an increase from the previous rate of $99.99. This comes after a rate adjustment for family and premier plans just last month.
Alongside the changes to Apple TV, the individual Apple One plan will now cost $21.95 per month, an increase from $19.95. The Apple One bundle provides access to a variety of services including Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple Arcade, Apple Fitness+, Apple News+, and iCloud+.
The trend of price increases among various streaming services continues, reflecting a broader issue of inflation that seems to have no immediate resolution in sight.
