Huawei Expands Tablet Offerings in India with New Budget-Friendly Models
Huawei has officially introduced two new tablets in the Indian market, aimed at budget-conscious consumers seeking quality devices for everyday use. While neither model is brand new, their affordability and features are designed to attract a wide range of users. Both tablets come equipped with impressive 11-inch displays and Huawei's renowned eye care technology, making them suitable for extended viewing.
Introducing the Huawei MatePad 11.5 (2025)
The MatePad 11.5 (2025) is a sleek device, measuring just 6.1mm in thickness and weighing 515g (without the keyboard). It packs a robust 10,100mAh battery that supports 40W charging, ensuring long hours of usage on a single charge. Powered by the Kirin T82B chipset, this tablet doesn’t come with Google Play services pre-installed. Users can enjoy an immersive audio-visual experience with its four onboard speakers.
This model is priced at ₹44,000 on Flipkart for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration (Wi-Fi only). It is available in two attractive colors: Violet and Space Gray.
Exploring the Huawei MatePad SE 11
The MatePad SE 11 offers a more economical option, priced at ₹20,000 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version. While it features an 11-inch IPS LCD, it lacks the advanced PaperMatte technology present in the MatePad 11.5. However, it provides an impressive viewing experience with 4,096 brightness levels and a peak brightness of 600 nits, alongside full-range DC dimming. This model has a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200px (16:10) and also comes with four speakers.
Despite its smaller 7,700mAh battery and slower 22.5W charging speed, the MatePad SE 11 is a solid choice for users looking for a reliable tablet without premium features. Notably, this device does not include a stylus or keyboard cover, distinguishing it from the MatePad 11.5 (2025).
It is important to mention that both the Huawei MatePad 11.5 and MatePad SE have already been launched in several other regions prior to their availability in India.
