On September 2, Huawei is gearing up for an exciting product launch that will see the introduction of not just the nova 16s Pro but also two innovative wearables: the Huawei Watch D3 and the FreeBuds Neo. These products promise to enhance user experience with improved design and functionality.
The Huawei Watch D3 is set to be the third addition to the D series, succeeding the original Watch D released in 2022 and the Watch D2 launched in 2024. This smartwatch features specialized wristbands designed for precise blood pressure measurements, functioning similarly to conventional inflatable cuffs found in medical devices. This promising accuracy stands out compared to other watches that utilize optical sensors.
Judging from the teaser clip, it appears the Huawei Watch D3 will sport a more slender profile than its predecessor, the D2, which measured 13.3mm in thickness. While retaining its recognizable rectangular display, digital crown, and accompanying button, it seems the new model will also feature a “larger screen,” although specific measurements remain unclear, considering the D2 already features a sizeable 1.82-inch display.

Additionally, Huawei is set to unveil the FreeBuds Neo during the same event. While the teaser does not showcase the earbuds directly, they are anticipated to feature an in-ear design. Initial impressions suggest the case will have a design much like the FreeBuds 6i, characterized by its distinctive wide, pebble-like shape.

As for the nova 16s Pro, this model serves as the global variant of the nova 16 Pro, which first hit the Chinese market in June. As with previous releases, there may be slight hardware variations comparable to those seen between the Pura 90s Pro and Pura 90 Pro.
