According to the latest report, Android maintains a commanding lead with a global market share of 75%, a slight increase from 73% in the previous quarter. Following Android, iOS holds a market share of 20%, down from 22% in Q1. In a distant third is Huawei's HarmonyOS, which remains steady at a 5% share, maintaining its position from Q1.
In the United States, iOS continues to lead with 51% of the market, while Android is closely trailing with 49%. The peak for iOS occurred in Q4 2025, reaching an impressive 69% market share.
Shifting focus to China, Android leads with a 58% market share, although this is a decline from 63% in Q1. In an interesting turn, HarmonyOS has risen to second place with a 24% share, up from 19% in the prior quarter, while iOS holds a modest 18%, slightly improving from 17% in Q1.
In India, the gap between Android and iOS is staggering, with Android dominating the market at 91%, an increase from 90% in Q1, while iOS is relegated to just 9%, down from 10% in the previous quarter.
