Oppo has officially begun rolling out the August update for its ColorOS 16, bringing a host of new features and enhancements to eligible devices. With this update, users can expect an enriched experience that includes innovative tools like the AI Remix Collage, improved security measures, and enhanced functionality for the Home Screen, along with useful new widgets and features for the Notes app.
The standout feature of this update is the AI Remix Collage, which now includes a Smart Cutout function. This tool enables users to effortlessly create stickers or sophisticated collages with advanced layer control features. Additionally, the Security and Phone Manager applications have been upgraded to actively block suspicious app behavior, harmful popups, and any rogue applications that may lead to battery drainage, offering real-time alerts for user awareness.
An exciting new gesture allows users to clear all notification badges simply by performing a pinch-out gesture. Furthermore, the update introduces new 2x2 and 4x2 Currency Converter widgets that provide users with real-time exchange rates, enhancing convenience for currency management.
The Notes app has also received significant upgrades, enabling users to draw, highlight, and annotate directly on images within their notes, making it an even more powerful tool for productivity.
